Resolved Upgrading from Form2Content 6.16 to 6.17

With version 6.17 Form2content has been rebuilt, with a lot of changes. Can I upgrade from version 6.16 to 6.17 safely? I mean without losing any data in the existing content types, templates and f2c articles? Do I have to edit data in these elements to keep it working?

Hi Hans,

Yes it is safe. Having said that you should of course always first make a backup.

You should not need to make any changes. This update is backwards compatible. However if you have custom overrides they might need to be updated as usual.

You will notice a change when you create a new content type as the work flow for templating has been simplified.
