Hi Patrick,

F2C PRO 6.17.4 / 3.9.13
Even after updating Joomla and F2C I still get "The geocoding process could not lookup the location." error in my frontend and backend form. I have tried all the in this advice, but nothing helped :(

Is there anything else I could do?

Thanks in advance, it´s the first time I´m encountering this trouble...

Kind regards, Alena

Hi Alena,

It's a new one for me too. First check, does the address exist, i.e. it doesn't work for any values?
Second, it worked before updating? Or has it worked at any time?

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

it doesn't work for any value, it worked in 6.16 version before updating Joomla. I tried updating to 6.17.4 version, but it didn't help. I have also checked the Google Maps API settings, it's ok. It's weird, because in other Joomla websites I can use geocoder without any problem.

Thanks,
Kind regards, Alena

Hi Alena,

Weird indeed. Can you check the error console to see if there any JS conflicts? Are you running any (system) plugins on this website that you are not running elsewhere?

In other words I am thinking of anything that can block/influence teh server call.

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

I haven't found any error in JS console and no system plugin that I don't use anywhere else.

Hi Alena,

OK strange. Is it possible we can see/test the website?

Patrick
