Hello,

I have a problem with F2C image uploading on the front-end. The image browsing when I click on the form button is OK, but nothing happens when I click. I have the same problem with various internet browsers. Everything is OK if i do the same thing with the back-end.

I read carefully the documentation, and saw a similar issue on the forum (https://forum.form2content.com/front-end-image-gallery-upload-issue).

With the browser debugger, I verified the problem is with the BlockUI function (error message is "typeError : Jquery.blockUI is not a function", see screen capture in attachment) . But I don't see any other script errors on the page, caused by another component, as in the previous issue (I am not a web developper, by the fact...)

Do you know anything witch can help me ? Thank You.

Serge

Hi Serge,

First of all a happy easter.

If it works in the back-end it's most likely an issue caused by a conflict with either another plugin/component or your Joomla template.

Can you test by linking the F2C article manager to the default Protostar tempate?

If the issue persists can you check your plugins and switch them off. SEF plugins, ajax or other plugins that do stuff dynamically are usually the culprit .

Let me know if you can narrow it down.

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for your help. Shame on me, I didn't think to do this test. Image uploading is OK with the standard Joomla template.
As you say, the problem is with my template. I will look at this and find a round out...

Happy Easter, too, a bit late....
