I get that parsererror syntaxerror: unexpected token < in Json at position 0 message when trying to upload an image file in frontend.

Can you help me please?

This situation is caused by PHP code generating warnings/errors that will interfere with the JSON content.

You can check where these errors come from by inspecting your PHP log files.
Please let me know what you find out.

OK, so far this error has almost always been caused by a 3rd party plugin. I can't reproduce the error (yet). Have you tried switching off other plugins to validate? It's often plugins that manipulate code on a page. I'll keep looking too in the mean time.
