Hi
F2C 5.6.0
Joomla 3.9.8

I would like to know if the multi select field is suitable for the following.

I have a list if icons to display in an article dependant on the amount selected. These are called via css. There are 15 in total to choose from, on average maybe 6 -7 will be selected to display in the article.

The code that would need to be rendered follows this format ---- <li class="tesda" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by TESDA"></li> -----. I would like the select option in the article form to be 'Tesda', then all I would need in the template would be {$TESDA}

Are the field lengths long enough, I tried the single select field, but the field lengths are too short.

Any thoughts?

Fixed it!

Isn't it annoying that no matter how long you scrutinize something that should be simple, you can't see the obvious!

in your original code you sent this:

<ul>
{foreach from=$BADGE_OPTIONS key=k item=i}
<li>class="{$k}" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by {$i}"></li>
{/foreach}
</ul>

it should have been this:

<ul>
{foreach from=$BADGE_OPTIONS key=k item=i}
<li class="{$k}" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by {$i}"></li>
{/foreach}
</ul>

Can you spot the difference?

:)

Thanks once again.

SUCCESS!!!!!!

I think???

I reinstalled pro and the install went fine without errors.

I uploaded my saved content type, and checked for the pro field types in the drop down, there are now many :)

I'll have a proper dig around and let you know if there are more problems.

I guess we will never know what caused the issue.

Thanks for you time, and excellent support as always.

ok

Although f2c seems to be working ok, there is a new issue with the code you sent originally :)

I have this in my main tpl file...
<ul class="m-t-20">
{foreach from=$BADGE_OPTIONS key=k item=i}
<li>class="{$k}" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by {$i}"></li>
{/foreach}
</ul>

in the multi select field opions I have 2 rows added with the option terms :
bir (this is the css class) and bir1
tesda and tesda1

when everything is saved and refreshed I check the front end and this is rendered:

<ul class="m-t-20">
<li>class="0" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by </li>
<li class="option_bir odd">bir1</li>
<li class="option_tesda even">tesda1</li>">
</ul>

f2c is adding 'options_' to each option value
and it's adding some of the content for each <li > as the first <li> in the list.

it now returns this once the front end has rendered

<ul class="m-t-20">
<li>class="bir" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by bir1"></li>
<li>class="tesda" rel="tooltip" data-original-title="Accredited by tesda1"></li>
</ul>

so all the info which should be hidden is now displayed with an additional '>' at the end.
