Hello,
I updated f2c from 6.14 to 6.17.2 (on a local copy!) And I'm a little bit puzzled...

On the backend form, when I create or edit an article, all native Joomla fields are duplicated. I understand that f2c 6.17 has been changed significantly and that "All Joomla fields such as title, category choice, publication etc. and F2C article template selection can now be found in the manager. fields. "

Ok, but now the joomla fields are in the same place as before next to their "copy" coming from the field manager!

So there is 2 Title fields, 2 Category fields, 2 tags fields, 2… and so on.

And I can not suppress them of course.

Could you explain to me what to do please
Thank you

J3.8.11 / F2C 6.17.2

Hi Marc,

Thanks for sharing and providing version info. Naturally we have tested a lot but this behavior is new to me. I will ask Julien to have a look and will aslo try to reproduce.
Is it possible for you to test by first upgrading to 6.16 before the 6.17 upgrade?

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

You're right: I've tried 6.14 to 6.16 to 6.17.2 and the J! fields are not duplicated.
I've not tested more deeply yet but it seems to work.
Thanks

Marc

Well, I've deleted the test install, re-installed the whole thing with the update path 6.14 > 6.16 > 6.17.2 and… same duplicated J! fields problem!!!

So, this time I've investigated properly and… I've got an override of the edit form!!!! sorry, I had completely forgotten this one.

So there was no issue from the beginning.

Regards
Marc
