Resolved Image title tag in front-end submission form

Joomla 3.8.13 - Form2Content Pro 6.17.3

I'm using the Joomla Category Blog Layout to show an overview of all via f2c submitted articles. The layout shows each the article intro image and the image title tag as a link to the respective articles.

If I create an article with f2c article manager in the Joomla Backend there is a field where I can set the image title tag. But as I created a default template for the front end submission form there was only a field for uploading the image - but no field for the image title tag.

As mentioned - I need the image title tag for the category blog layout. Is there a code for a front end submission form when uploading an image?

Hi Klaus,

Can you verify that you have "Display title field" set to yes in your Image Field settings? Are you using the text from the image title as the text for your link (i.e. between the < a > tags)?

PS We just released F2C 6.17.4 with some bug fixes.

Thanks for the tipp - I updated to 6.17.4

I also opened and saved the content type image fields again and created a new default submission form - now the field for the title is displayed in the submission form.

And yes - Joomla uses the text of the image title field for the image caption link in the category blog layout (protostar template).

Glad it's solved. You know you don't need a submission form if you don't require an override of the form right?
