Hello,

I'm using the image gallery and place the images in a slideshow (based upon the UIKIT slideshow). When the page is shown for the first time after clearing the cache it works. When I reload the page the images are not shown. Looking at the errors, it seems the image gallery folder is forbidden (403). Is this something familiar?

I make use of Akeeba Admintools. Might this be the issue?

Hi, no this doesn't ring any bells.
If F2C saves the images in the correct folder and the images are shown (ie template works) this does not seem to be a F2C issue.

Showing Joomla articles is 100% Joomla. Checking your permissions and those extensions involved with them like Admintools would sound logical.

PS. If developing don't use caching!!

When disabling joomla cache the problem is gone. That unfortunately is not a option for the live-site. Admintools does not seem to have any influence on this problem. There are no other extensions involved in this.

Will go and try to load the images directly via your code.

Does this mean you where using a plugin or module to load the gallery?

I have examples on Gist with Uikit gallery that has no caching issues.
