Not sure if it is possible already, but it would be nice to be able to filter articles (this is possible via search filtered articles) and show those articles grouped by another field.

Something like: Filter by date (show articles with date-field in the future. And group them by month. So the following result could be:

January
article 1
article 2

February
article 3
article 4

Hi Rob,

The current options don't do this. Form2Content has always stuck to com_content for publishing. F2C Search shows results in lists. Getting that into groups like you suggest isn't possible without huge changes.

Creating a publishing component based on the F2C data is possible and would provide options for structures like the one you suggest. However we currently have no plans to develop such an extension in the near future.

It is possible to use our F2C Anywhere plugin to group articles if the articles are in different categories. See an example here: https://salsainbreda.nl/agenda

Hello Patrick,

Thanks a lot for your respons. Two questions about the F2C Anywhere plugin. How do I generate these articles in a blog-layout with multiple columns? And can this be combined with the filter (to make sure only articles where the f2c field $DATE is in the future are shown)? If that is possible we get the result I was looking for.
