Since I updated my template (YooTheme Pro) I can no longer create new articles using F2C from the front end.
The submission form displays but the save button does not respond.

I then changed the template of the submission page to a standard Joomla template (Bees) - and then it works fine.

I am using Joomla 3.9.3 and F2C 6.7.4

I read an article about captcha being responsible for a similar problem, but I am not using captcha

Good morning Poul,

Apologies for the late reply, it's Carnaval here at the moment. I myself use Yootheme Pro on several websites with extensive front-end and no issues. Can you check if you have any F2C template overrides running? They need to be updated too.

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick - I understand. Never let a festive opportunity pass you by :p

I have to say that I am pretty sure that I do not have any overrides - I don't think I have ever uses overrides in my 8 to 10 years as a Joomla user :-)

I don't understand why it does not work

Regards Poul

Hi Poul,

Just a small check, you are using F2C 6.17.4 and not 6.7.4?

Can you set "load jquery" to ON in Yootheme Pro settings and see if this influences anything?
Also make sure you empty cache between testing.

Last, if a button doesn't work it's 99.9% because of some JS issue. Can you check if there is some 3rd party extension that is loaded in Yootheme but not in Breeze (maybe like a module)?

Regards,
Patrick
