Hi, Im attempting to use the f2c and the f2c import (link below) on a 3rd website, the past 2 websites have run fine, but im fearing that the f2c import extension is now out-of-date has errors and isn't supported (ive been waiting 2 weeks for a support request (forum and email)).

http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/migration-a-conversion/data-import-a-export/article-import-for-form2content

Basically I have fixed a lot of errors I was having with this component, but it seems there is just one last.

It is looking for a file within f2c (/components/com_form2content/class.form2content.php) which no longer seems to exist.

I know this is regarding a 3rd party extension but as a last attempt to use your f2c and f2c import for this project, I though I would try the f2c support, (obviously if i cant fix the errors i cant use the extensions).

Here are the errors Im getting, many thanks in advance!

Warning: require_once(/homepages/username/components/com_form2content/class.form2content.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/username/administrator/components/com_f2cimport/models/handlers/form2content.php on line 394

Hi Fred,

We have refactored F2C heavily in the latest releases, thus the disappearance of the class.form2content.php file.
This file existed in F2C until version 6.9.0.

You could try to run the 3rd party component from an older version of F2C, or copy the file from an older version in the F2C directory. Of cource I can't guarantee that this will work, but it could help you getting a step further.

best,
Julien

Hi, Thanks for your reply, but I have decided not to use F2C for this project, because of the issues with this 3rd party extension.

Could I possibly please have a refund for the most recent license I purchased?

Hi Fred,

I will see what I can do. Can you send me an email with your F2C username to support at opensourcedesign dot nl?

Regards,
Patrick
Please read the F2C documentation before asking questions! Thank you if you've done so ;)
