Hi F2C
When I create a new F2C article from the frontend and select an image from server (image selection/browse server field), I get at first an error 403. Once I save the F2C article, I can select images from the server. This works form start in the backend, no need to save the new article first.
After investigation, I think this might be access right or PHP setting related. I tried several things without success. But this is strange as it works perfectly once I save the new F2C article.
I am probably not the first who experience this behavior, can you help me?
Thanks
Didier.

Hi Didier,

If you weren't the first we might have solved it ;) ... so no other reports (yet).
Can you give us your versions and php info?
When an article isn't saved yet it doesn't have a Joomla ID yet and all data is cached. It might well be a permission check by the media manager.
Where exactly is the error shown?

Regards,
Patrick

Thanks for that very quick response
The error appears in the select image popup window, immediately after pushing the select image button, see error_403 screendump.
F2C version 6.17.4
See screendumps for PHP version, PHP settings and system information.
All folders writable, except of course configuration.php

Hi Didier,

Thanks for the info. What is your front-end Joomla user access level? Have your tried changing this and/or checking the media manager permissions?

Regards,
Patrick

Superuser works in the frontend, so you’re right, I’ll look at some access rights later on and let you know
Thanks!

The publishers did not have all the necessary F2C rights, this is now OK.
How could I be so stupid?
Thanks for your always great support!
Didier.
