Resolved Edit existing content type

When you edit an existing content type, e.g. add a new field and delete an old one, will the custom intro and main templates referred to in the content type be overwritten, or will the changes be in the default templates?

As I have quite some Smarty code in my templates, I wouldn't like to lose it.

Default templates are alway overwritten unless you go to global settings (options right top) and switch this feature off.
