While I am developing the web site I would like the articles to be published by anyone (public) from the front submission form without having to go into the backend admin to publish them - as happens on your demo site.

But I am unable to achieve this. The only info I can find on how to do it (I have read your documentation many times now!) is in the support query:

https://forum.form2content.com/default-to-published

which is marked 'resolved' but I can find no solution there.

From that I understand that the field to be completed is the 'Additional field settings' set to YES of field 'JSTATUS' 'published' as in scrshot

default-published-status.jpg

But when added from the front end form, although the status in that form appears as 'published', the added article defaults to 'unpublished'.

Your help would be much appreciated,
Thank you,
Richard

Hi Richard, can you check your permissions for this F2C content type. Allow change state should be set to YES.
Please read the F2C documentation before asking questions! Thank you if you've done so ;)
