Resolved Database table error when migrating - wrong prefix used

Setup: Joomla 3.4.1 - F2C Pro 6.10.0

Aim: Migrate from 1.5 to 3.x

Problem: When using Form2Content Data Migration Toolkit (J1.5 to J3.x.x) it gives an error: Table 'db_ek34.jos_f2c_project' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT * FROM jos_f2c_project

The prefix in the new database is 'ek34' so it's correct that the tool can't find table 'db_ek34.jos_f2c_project' because it's 'db_ek34.ek34_f2c_project'

But what I understand is that the tool selects the right prefix from the new database by itself. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Eric,

Thanks for sending me the back-up.
When I installed it I noticed that it only contained tables with the ek34_ prefix, but the old J1.5 tables are not present.

The migration component needs both the old and the new tables in one database. This is possible by having a different prefix for each type of table. For example ek34_ for the new tables and jos_ for the old ones.

I have discovered some bugs recently in the migration toolkit that I am fixing now.
I'm not aware of this problem.
