Would it be possible to create 2 articles (in 2 different categories) from 1 content type? So the users fills one form creating 2 different articles based on 2 templates?

Why do I want to do this? Because I want to let the visitors decide how they want to overview the articles (left to right in blocks or in a list).

I do not think this is a possibility yet, but it might be a very powerful extra unique sellingpoint for the component.

Hi Rob,

No unfortunately not. The only way to re-use images is by choosing the upload as a browse server field, but there the disadvantage is that the administrator has to upload all images in advance.

best,
Julien

Hi,

This is indeed not possible, there's a 1 to 1 relationship between a F2C Article and a Joomla Article.
There is a work-around however that you could use:

1) Create the first article and publish it
2) Save the article as a copy in F2C and adjust it
3) Save the 2nd article

I know this is not the ideal solution, but it's the only solution I can think of at the moment....

Julien

Indeed this is not ideal. Both articles still have the same layout and the same category. Looking for a client friendly solution for this. This is not it.

Same goes for images by the way. Every image has to be uploaded again. There is no way of reusing the images is there?!

Thanks for you reply though.

Best,
Rob
