I'm using com_multicats (multiple categories) which is working perfectly in my backoffice (/administrator) but unfortunatly this is not enable for form2content. Is there a possibility to have this enable into my Form2content?

Hi Steven,

Which extension is this? I find several.

Chances are very slim but I have to see the working first.

Patrick

Hi Steven,

This won't work with F2C as we use the category selection in the native Joomla way including the ACL and limiting choice based on preset selection. We also have a 1 on 1 relationship in our data match between F2C data and Joomla article.

Instead of having multiple copies of articles we use article properties and for instance filtered article lists (F2C Search feature) to create navigation and get articles returned in "multiple categories". A different approach.

Patrick

Many thanks for your reply. Is there any documentation for this approach?

Hi Steven,

You can see a working example here: https://www.safari-planner.com/
It's F2C search module and pages like these are filtered article listings.

You define the filter before, it can be based on multiple search parameters (country and family).

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Patrick
