Hi Philip,
The answer is NO. Joomla architecture doesn't allow one article to belong to multiple categories.
So you can approach the problem differently. If your articles have properties (or tags) you want to filter on those. Category is than one of many properties like author etc. In Form2Content we treat certain fields as properties (think single and multiselect lists). Using F2C Search you can then search on those properties (example:
https://www.safari-planner.com check te left drop-downs).
Now I also wanted to display category blog layout based on a predefined set of properties so we created Filtered Article lists in F2C Search.
Example:
https://www.safari-planner.com/botswana/groepsreizen. Properties are: safari, Botswana and group... the read more goes to the Joomla article.
Please read more about this here:
http://documentation.form2content.com/f2c-extensions/f2c-search
http://documentation.form2content.com/f2c-extensions/f2c-search/106-filtered-article-lists
Please do realise there are limitations. For instance, we do not build our own breadcrumb but always fall back to the Joomla menu structure for you article navigation.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Patrick
Please read the F2C documentation before asking questions! Thank you if you've done so
