Is it possible to set a secondary sort option on a filtered article list? My client only displays months and years on the front end so I've had them set the created date to be the same time date and time. The problem I'm having is the default secondary sort is the ID of the article. I want to be able to set it to be alphabetical based on the title. Is there anyway to set that, such as a syntax to add to the Custom ordering default field under the blog tab.

Hi Altos,

Setting a secondary sort option for the default setting should be possible but I believe we might have a small bug. The single line text field should be a multi line, allowing you to add the second value pair.
I will ask Julien to update this when he's back from spring holiday coming week.

Patrick

Hi Altos,

This is not a bug.

In the field "Customer ordering options" you can specify multiple lines, because each line specifies a separate sorting link.

In the field "Custom ordering default" you can only specify one line and order by one field. (the pop-up help will also say this when you hover over the label)

best,
Julien

Hello Julien,

It might not be a bug, but where is the second ordering based on? Lets say I want to order on field Date. What happens when I have two articles with the same value? Where can I change this second order value?

Regards,
Rob
