I have a website using f2c where you can create bios in the admin for attorneys. There is a checkbox area for areas of service applicable to an attorney. The client wants to be able to show them in a custom order for each new attorney. Currently they are in alphabetical order when displayed. What options do I have for a drag and drop ordering system, as some attorneys are really well respected in a certain area of practice so they want that up top for instance.

We currently don't support the ordering of a select list. It's an interesting feature though.

There is a way to get it done but is a bit more work.

1) Create a Content Type for Services but do not create Joomla articles for them (option in the Content Type config)
2) Create a database multiselect lookup field in the current form and use the below query to be able to select the services.

SELECT id, title
FROM jos_f2c_form
WHERE catid IN (28) AND
state = 1
ORDER BY title

note table pre-fix and your category ID!!

3) Users can now select one or more services and order them.

4) Update your template. Should work with the FIELDNAME_VALUES array just like with the multi-select list.

Please read the F2C documentation before asking questions! Thank you if you've done so ;)
