Good day

I have just recently upgraded to joomla 3.8.2 and I am using F2C Pro 6.16.0 and I can’t trash articles. From the backend if I select an article to trash and proceed the popup says the trash was successful but the article is still there. What is going on here?

Thanks.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for using the forum ;). Like I said I haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet. Could you check:

1) Your permissions just in case?
2) Is it always or after using a filter?
3) Is it for articles of every Content type?
4) Can you (backup) and re-install Form2Content just in case?

If all the above fail can you send and admin account. You know the email-address ;)

Regards,
Patrick

I have tried all those things and it appears to be always.

I will email you a login.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Patrick

I am not sure if I should create a new thread, but because I have already sent you login details I will add my new issue here. All of a sudden I cannot upload images through the image gallery field. I can select a file but nothing happens after that. It does not seem to be triggering the upload but I am unsure as to how to resolve this issue.

Please let me know if this is better off in a new thread.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick, I will be looking at the site in a minute.

BUT... all of a sudden doesn't happen ;) Something must have changed! To me it sounds like a JS issue. Again is it front or back-end or both?

Hi Nick,

You are using a submission form override!!! Please follow testing instructions from the documentation. ALWAYS test without overrides first!

I switched it OFF in the Content Type settings for super profile.

1) I can create and trash articles in the back-end (check the trash ;) )
2) I can upload images

I do notice strange icons for th eup and down buttons in teh gallery field. Since this is bootstrap code for Joomla back-end something else must be interfering with the CSS! Maybe it's the Helix Ajax plugin.

Thanks Patrick

I think I have everything figured out now. Except for the up/down icons. What are they supposed to be? When I look in the F2Cfields.css file the icons displaying are what is referenced.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

For the icons we refer to what is loaded in Joomla. Maybe your template has loaded another icon library or another version? I have never seen this behaviour yet.

Patrick
