Hi, in the latest version of F2C it is still loading Mootools. I thought maybe it was something to do with my template, but having installed a fresh copy of the latest Joomla and F2C as the only extension, using the sample data, when editing the Demo all fields submission F2C article in the frontend it is still getting loaded. (only on F2C edit pages).
I did manage to remove Mootools by changing some JHtml::_('behavior... lines to the bootstrap equivalent but this required editing core F2C files, which is not something I want to do on my livesite.

Hi Helen,

Please specify latest version..... this will change over time so people reading back will need to know the version!

I wasn't aware that mootools is still being loaded. Joomla has used it for the article manager in the back-end a long long time and we are dependant on that. I will look into this with Julien.

Patrick

Hi,
the issue is with frontend editing.
Joomla version 3.8.10
F2C Pro version 6.17.2

I just downloaded a fresh copy of F2C to make sure I had the latest version.

Hi Helen,

The answer is as I expected, Joomla still hasn't outfaced Mootools completely. What I personalyy do is use the Protostar template for the front-end admin area. That way users know they are managing content and mootools and possible other scripts have no effect on the rest of the website.

Patrick
