I want create an iframe without borders. There are 2 options:
- add iframe fieldtype
- add textarea and add complete iframe code

When I add an iframe using textarea field and paste the whole html code for an iframe into the textarea and place the contents via the tag in the template, the iframe renders with escape code into the article:
<iframe src=..... > ... etc. and does not work.

When I add an iframe using iframe field and place the url by its tag into the template it works, I get an iframe. However I am not able to get the border with a 0 width. Either the additional fields, via which I have to do it, don't work or I don't understand how they work. I also cannot find how to add additional field codes for an iframe by using the iframe field.

Please help, my preferable solution is to use the textarea, that always worked for me, however, not anymore see text.

Hi Dre,

Two options.

1) Instead of copy/pasting html i.e. the whole iframe tag in a text area field just get the URL of the content of the Iframe. That way no issues with rendering HTML.

So, add the iframe code to your F2C Template with src="{$FIELDNAME_OF_THE_URL_FIELD}" border="0" etc... You now have full control.

2) Rendering HTML you can use {$< fieldname >_RAW}.... as per documentation. Check the PDF with ALL the template parameters.

Patrick

Ah, I see. Point 2 is my favored solution. Sorry, I am an early user of your component, it used to work without _RAW.
Thanks.
