Hi,
Running F2C (latest version) with the frontend edit button. Works fine.
Upgraded from Joomla 6.5 to 7.2. Also implemented the https protocol.

Everything is working ok except the frontend edit button. When I click on "edit this article" ->Error: Call to a member function get() on null.

In the plugin settings changed "append itemid" from blank to "itemid of the displaying page", now the edit form apears but when i click on "save" I get the error "Call to a member function get() on nul". When I click on "save & close" the item is properly saved.

Tried loading mootools, jquery easy, refreshed f2c articles. Nothing helps.

Note: save button in backend and F2C article manager works fine.

Can you help? Thanks.

For me the button doesn't work at all with first option (Don't append item id - gives error), with second option I can even save, but it opens a wrong form - of a different article and different contenttype.
I'm using Joomla 3.7 and F2C 6.16.

I would like to add a little bit here.
Using J3.7.3 and just testing upgrade to F2C 6.16.0

Plugin settings:
Don't append item id -> fatal error white page
ID of displaying page -> renders input form incorrectly, not using the correct template (overriden) or menu params
Itemid defined by rules -> if I use the F2C article manager Itemid and contenttype linked to that menu then I get the correct form BUT on pressing Close I get taken back to the Article Manager and not the page I came from.

After checking the code in form.php I did manage to force it to work with the third option by going into the database and setting "editmode":"2" in the menu params. Now it opens the correct form and redirects to the page I came from.

Hi Hans,

I believe Julien is working on a solution for the plugin. It's caused by changes in Joomla which we first had to figure out. We'll let you know as soon as possible when the update is available.

Regards,
Patrick
Please read the F2C documentation before asking questions! Thank you if you've done so ;)
