I am trying to create a DATABASE LOOKUP field that will list the entries from the CITY_TOWN field that were entered from previous (Form2Content Pro) submissions but I do not know the TABLE where the F2C field’s content is located. How should I change this SQL query?

SELECT id, city_town FROM jos_content ORDER BY city_town

Hi Carlos,

In F2C Search 6.7 there is the option for a Text Combo field. This will display the values of a text field as a drop down. Have you tested this?

Patrick

Hi Carlos,

You would like to create a dropdown of the values of a TEXT field from another F2C Content Type?

If this is not what you want or not the EXACT description please provide more information. We would also need at least the Content Type ID and Field ID of the CITY_TOWN field. Please add the database prefix for good measure ;)

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

I have created a Content Type called “Shop Registration” in my Form2Content Pro that it has a Text field called “City_Town”. Now what I need is a field in my Form2Content Search that will the list unique Cities/Towns submitted in the “Shop Registration” form.

So, I thought that if I create a (Lookup Database) Non-Visible in Front-end Lookup Database field in the called “Cities_Towns” in the Content Form (Form2Content Pro), then I could display it in a Lookup Database or List field of the Form2Content Search form called “Find a Shop”.

SELECT DISTINCT ‘id’, ‘City_Town’ FROM [tablename] ORDER BY ‘City_Town’

Thank you,
