Hi

I am using Form2Content Pro 4.7.0 on Joomla 2.5.

I have a requirement to pre-populate the "Finish Publishing" dates for F2C articles, like 30 days from the "start publishing" dates. Where would I tweek the code for this? I can handle php level code changes.

I see that "Start Publishing" date gets populated with the "Created Date" by default, user can change later. Exactly on the same logic, how do I pre-populate the "Finish Publishing" with a date, 30 days from the "Created Date" ? I want this only for F2C articles (not all Joomla article). Can someone help me with the file name, code to change etc?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello Sree,

The best way to do this is to write a small F2C plug-in.
On the before save event you can modify the F2C article data, that's when you can set the publish-down date.

To see how a F2C plugin works, please see our free F2C Metadata plug-in as an example.

best,
Julien

Mate,

i would just use this:

http://jextbox.com/jextbox-article-auto-manager.html

Jetbox Auto Article Manager...its awesome and its applications are absolutely amazing...and no code writing required. There are other Joomla extensions that do similar things, but this is by far the best.

Thanks,
