Looks to be a great component which I have been looking for a while for. I just have a few questions:

1. This question is important as my templates I create will probably change over time as I add information or stylize things. If I change the template will the existing articles that use the template be automatically updated as well? (I hope so!)

2. I didn't see it mention but am just confirming that it does not use Zend (no encrypted files)?

3. I assume it is easy to go from the free to pro version once I start building the content and confirm it is the right component that fits my needs.

4. Just confirming it supports content plugins. I have a fair number of shortcodes I use in my articles now that I will want to transfer to the from2content templates.

Also glad to see it supports tags. This is important to me as well.

Thanks for your answers. I am familiar with the smarty template system so that is another plus for Form2Content in my opinion.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your interest. Think I can answer your questions.

1) Only on saving are Joomla articles (re)created. If you change your template we have a batch refresh function in the back-end. Depending on your php limits and number of fields in your F2C form you can refresh hundreds of articles or maybe all at once.

2) Correct, NO ENCRYPTION.

3) YES, you can update without loss of work. You will need to go through your settings since in Pro you get many more options.

4) YES, That's the power of Form2Content ;). Please do read: http://documentation.form2content.com/f2c-tips-and-tricks/f2c-plugin-examples/6-using-joomla-plugins-with-smarty

Regards,
Patrick
Please read the F2C documentation before asking questions! Thank you if you've done so ;)
